The Audubon Action Fund is the 501(c)(4) advocacy affiliate of the National Audubon Society. The Audubon Action Fund is dedicated to building bipartisan support for common-sense solutions to the greatest conservation challenges facing birds, people, and the places we need.

The National Audubon Society is an independent 501(c)(3) public charity that protects birds and the places they need using science, advocacy, education, and on-the-ground conservation.
Is my contribution to the Audubon Action Fund tax deductible?

Contributions made to the Audubon Action Fund, the advocacy affiliate of the National Audubon Society, are not tax deductible.
Why can I only make a sustaining donation?

Sustainer giving, whether monthly or annual is the most effective and least costly way to support an organization. As a 501(c)4 membership organization, the Audubon Action Fund needs members to annually reaffirm their membership. As a financial supporter, donating members power our work, and to reduce costs associated with renewals, the Audubon Action Fund requires members to commit to a monthly or annual recurring gift. You always have the option to cancel your monthly gift at any time. And we will notify you in advance of your annual gift charging so you can cancel or change it as you wish.

As noted above, at this time, the Audubon Action Fund requires donors to make a commitment of a monthly or annual recurring gift in order to reduce the costs associated with the membership program.
